11/09/2010 - 506 birds have been entered for the big race. Basketing list will be online early in the afternoon.
506 birds competing in the 2010 race! They have travelled well, been fed and watered twice and are awaiting the ferry over to Kangaroo Island.
08/09/2010 - Basketing this Friday: 10th September.
01/09/2010 - Race postponed. Due to the unlikely occurrence of good conditions this weekend, the race has been put off until the following weekend. Due to the large area (most of Victoria) entering we will not basket unless there is 100% chance of a race. In the event of a hold over, it would be near impossible to distribute the entrants back to their home lofts.
30/08/2010 - Early forecast for this weekend looks unfavourable for the event. We will announce Wednesday if basketing will take place this Friday as planned or postponed till the following week.
